Trail Report

We went for our first ride this morning. We had a great time. The snow was about knee deep around here. We took trail 419 in to Munising and were the first ones down until about the last 5 miles into town. Then we took trail 8 west; it was groomed all the way back to the resort. It sure was nice and smooth. We rode about 50 miles and passed only 5 sleds.

The lake is frozen but got slushy after all the snow. Later this week I will check the ice after it firms up. It shouldn't take long with the cold temps expected the next couple days.
